🐐 Goat Party FAQ: Your Most Common Questions Answered

Everything WNY families want to know before booking a goat party

Thinking about booking a goat party but not quite sure what to expect? You’re not alone! We get tons of questions from curious parents, party planners, and goat-loving kids—and we’re answering them all right here. Whether you’re hosting a backyard birthday, a school event, or even a graduation party, here’s what you need to know before booking your goat experience with WNY Party Goats.

🗓️ Booking & Logistics

How do I book a goat party?
Easy! You can either fill out our online form or message us on Facebook.

How far in advance should I book?
We do accept last-minute bookings if we’re available—but our calendar fills fast, especially once spring hits. Some weekends in September and October are already claimed by May! Booking early gives you the best shot at your preferred date and time.

Where do you travel to?
We serve all over Western New York—Buffalo, Lockport, East Aurora, North Tonawanda, West Seneca, and beyond. If you’re in WNY, we’ll likely come to you!

What’s included in the party?
We bring the baby goats and a handler to keep things fun and safe. No fencing required—we’ll keep the goats nearby, and depending on the setup, we may use leashes. You focus on the party, we’ll handle the goats!

How much does it cost and how do I pay?
Pricing is hourly—just message us for the current rate. We accept Venmo and credit cards.

🐐 About the Goats

Are the goats safe for kids?
Absolutely! Our goats are incredibly social and used to being around kids—we’ve got six of our own, so they get lots of love and attention.

Do they wear diapers?
Nope—but goat poop is basically little pellets (like rabbit poop). It’s dry, doesn’t smell, and honestly… it’s great for your garden or lawn.

Do they bite or headbutt?
Nope. These goats are sweet, curious, and well-behaved. We’re always supervising to make sure everyone—goats and guests—stays safe and happy.

Can we pet and feed the goats?
Yes, please do! Depending on the goats’ age, we may bring bottles of milk or goat treats. Many kids love gathering grass or leaves to make “goat salads”—and the goats love it too.

Can I request a specific goat from your herd?
Yes! If your child is in love with a certain goat they’ve seen online, let us know and we’ll do our best to bring them (availability permitting).

🏡 Party Setup & Event Details

What do I need to provide for the party?
Just bring the guests! We’ll take care of the goats, the setup, and everything else.

What happens if it rains?
We’re flexible—if the weather turns, we can reschedule or bring a pop-up tent so the goats can still mingle comfortably.

Can you do goat parties at parks or event venues?
Yep! Just double-check that the location allows animals. We’ve never been turned away from a park yet.

How long is a typical goat party?
Most people book 1–2 hours (1 hour is our minimum). Pro tip: the goats are on their best behavior in the first hour. Things can get a little goofy after that—but don’t worry, our handler keeps them in check.

Can adults join in the fun too?
Of course! We’ve done family reunions, adult birthdays, even graduation parties. Goats aren’t just for kids.

🎁 Add-Ons, Photos & More

Do you offer any extras?
Yes! We can add on a birthday gift (ordered two weeks in advance), and you can shop from our online store. We’ll also take photos during the party if you’d like—and we’ll only share them if we have your permission. Want a full goat photo shoot (like prom pics)? We do that too!

Do you do school visits or group events?
Yes—we’ve worked with schools, scout troops, and local festivals. Just message us for details.

Can we come to your farm or combine this with goatscaping?
At this time, we don’t offer farm tours. Goatscaping is a separate service using our full-size goats—great for clearing brush, not parties!
